Splendor Photography Dallas – Fort Worth Natural Light Newborn, Children and Family Photography bio picture
  • Hi! I'm Erin and I am the photographer behind Splendor Photography. I am married to my husband of 12 years and we have 4 amazing and beautiful children.I am a coffee with hazelnut cream lover. I love spending time with the most important thing to me, and that is my precious family! I have been photographing newborns, children and families in the Dallas-Fort worth area for 4 years and love every second of it. I love meeting new people, and seeing the same families come back time and time again to have me preserve those fleeting moments that are gone way too soon. My goal is for you to have the best experience with me, and I strive to make it the best. I have been told that I have an unusual amount of patience, so when it comes to your kids, they will never get on my nerves, or have me irritated. I truly love kids, and people. I am always open for questions, and always available to help.

Family Mini Sessions

Happy Thursday everyone! I am offering one day of family mini sessions before it gets too incredibly hot because I won’t be taking sessions this fall, since I will have a brand new baby (yay!) I wanted to give anyone a chance to have that done because you can still use these pictures on your Christmas cards! Below is the information. Please let me know if you have any questions!

Sweet B kids

I loved meeting this family and their beautiful kids for the first time. And as you can see, we used a different type of location. One that I had to get creative and minimize the amount of people that were all around. I think it worked out great and I am so happy that stepped out of my comfort zone for this session because I loved the way they turned out. Oh, and you would never guess that sweet baby boy you see here wanted nothing to do with being put down! Love it! These children were beautiful and so sweet! Enjoy!

P Fam

I adore this family. This is my cousin and his beautiful wife and daughter. I love Miss P’s chunky legs, and her smile that lights up when she see her daddy! I only wish that I would have blogged this sooner, but this session was done when I was in my first trimester and not feeling well. So hope you enjoy this gorgeous family!

Information on Fall 2013 sessions

Hello everyone! Logging into my blog account made me realize that I am completely slacking in the blogging department. But there is good reason for that, I will get to that in a minute. I started off in January on a mission to document my daily life every day. I was doing so good, taking pictures everyday and then boom….Extreme exhaustion, nausea, and zero energy hit me. Yep, you guessed it…

So, you read that right! We are expecting baby #5 in September! I am so very excited because I know the sex already (chalk that up to intuition and the sono tech giving me a 75% guess at my last sono at 13 weeks) I will confirm that in the next week or so. I realized the other day how very blessed I am and how gracious God is to allow my first trimester to be during my slow season. On top of that I was hit with a nasty stomach bug. NOT fun whatsoever, especially while pregnant! What does this mean for Splendor Photography? Well, it means that I will doing sessions as usual except my normal fall sessions (I’m a little bit sad about that, because I will miss seeing a lot of my fav clients that I see every year) and I will be doing a handful of sessions in November for my Black Friday sale clients who purchased my sale. So if you are interested in a session in November, please let me know now because as I stated I will only be doing a handful.

Also, please don’t forget about my new session that I am offering. The daily life session, perfect for summer when its blazing hot outside:)Since it is spring finally, now is the perfect time to book a beautiful session for your family. And your spring pictures still look great on your Christmas cards later in the year!;)

I know this blog may seem all over the place, I’m sorry! Oh, one more thing…The picture up there of the peas in the pod…I know there are six peas in the pod, but I am only expecting #5! Just loved the picture!:):):)

Have a great weekend, and be on the lookout for my announcement on giving away a spring session!
