Little Miss K turns 1

One of my favorite little sweetie pies turned one, and I was honored to take her 1 year pictures. We actually had to break this session up into 2 parts because by the end of these first set of pictures, she was not feeling well and had a fever and was so done with everything. But, when part two came, and she was feeling better she was her normal happy girl, and loved that cake. I love that mom brought this old highchair that belonged to her mom when she was a baby. Such a special touch. Can’t wait to see you again for your 18 month session Miss K!!

The P Family

Have you ever seen parents more happy than these two? They were so full of joy over their sweet new baby girl. I loved working with them. How amazing is that antique sofa passed down from dad’s side of the family? Loved it, and baby girl did too, she wet it twice!:)Thanks P family!

Sweet Baby C

I just seriously adore this sweet boy’s session. He was so cuddly, and sleepy and full of smiles. I could not ask for a better newborn session! Enjoy:)

I asked my friend/client Katie, if she would be willing to write up a little testimonial for me to share on my blog. She is my friend, and once we reconnected (thank you Facebook) she has stuck with me and I couldn’t appreciate her and her family more. So I asked her to share why she is happy to  have me take her family’s pictures every year…I honestly was very honored when I read her email. I hope that I can bring this same feeling to many of my present and future clients. I also hope that you will be inspired to take that leap and book a session if you haven’t already. Not because I just want your business. It’s way more than that, it’s preserving a little chunk in time that will be gone before you know it. Plus, you will have something beautiful to hang on your walls…and by beautiful I mean YOU, loving on your kids or seeing your precious angels giving me that smile that you thought was a loss because they weren’t cooperating that day:)That is my job, to bring you something beautiful. So here is Katie’s testimony, and how she displays *some* of her pictures from Splendor Photography on her walls. ( I say some because, they’re everywhere in her home, and I LOVE that!!!)

How do I possibly express my love for Erin Morman and her gifted photography?  It’s a tough task, but let me try!

Erin and I reconnected on Facebook shortly after the birth of my daughter about 3 years ago.  I was so excited to have her photograph our daughter, Leila.  I had no idea what to expect and little did I know that meeting would be the beginning of such an amazing, ongoing gift to my family!

Our first session was a blast!  We caught up and cracked up- all the while Erin was working her magic, perfectly capturing my little angel’s precious smile and personality!  Seeing all of the candids on the disc a few weeks later made me SO happy!  I think I framed every single shot and I have been absolutely hooked ever since:).

Splendor Photography is one of my guilty pleasures!  Every session has me up at Aaron Brothers buying another round of frames to display Erin’s latest collection…
my family, my masterpiece:)

I believe that you either have a gift in photography or you don’t and well… Erin is just plain brilliant!  I truly treasure her gift and I will continue to have her capture my kiddos!  After all, my walls would be bare without my beloved Splendor Photography sessions!

On a side note, I love Katie’s creative eye for displaying her pictures in her home, if you are struggling and don’t know how or where to put your pictures, please contact me. Katie has offered to help anyone get your beautiful pictures up on the walls of your home to enjoy!

And here is a few from her latest session with me in the Bluebonnets…can’t wait until next time Katie!:)

The B family

I will try to not go on and on about this session. Because, I love it so much, I want to tell you 3 reasons why. So here goes:

1. Mom is such a natural beauty, and her smile for her newly born son is about the most genuine, heart full of love as you can get.

2. I LOVE mom sitting in the window, and baby boy reaching up to touch her face. {MELT MY HEART}

3. Oh, goodness, how precious is mom and baby smiling at the same time, snuggling?

Ok, I know I just went on and on about mom and baby, but seriously how can I not? They’re just precious. Dad, you are a blessed man!
